When Brazil Windpower opens on 27 October, international suppliers face a familiar challenge: deciding which companies deserve a conversation, what to prepare before visiting a stand and how to turn those conversations into commercial follow-ups.

The 17th edition runs from 27 to 29 October at São Paulo Expo. With international pavilions from Denmark, the Netherlands and the Basque Country, and discussions on offshore wind, operations and maintenance, and storage, the event illustrates how market intelligence can support work before, during and after a trade exhibition.

Danevig has launched a dedicated Brazil Windpower workspace with a free 10-day Full App V2 pass. Users can shortlist exhibitors, capture meetings on-site and manage follow-ups after the event. The offer covers the exhibition workflow before, during and after the show.

Trade data and market-readiness analysis for wind equipment

Danevig’s broader trade intelligence platform includes the HS Opportunity Explorer and HS Market Finder. In an example focused on wind-powered generating sets, the Opportunity Explorer displayed US$1.226 million of reported EU-to-Brazil trade under HS 850231 in 2025, down 26.8% from US$1.675 million in 2024. That 2025 value was nevertheless 133.1% higher than the 2022 figure of US$526,000.

The figures, shown by Danevig using UN Comtrade data, relate to a defined product classification and direction of trade — not the overall Brazilian wind-energy equipment market. They are screening signals, not evidence of sales opportunities for any specific supplier.

For an EU-origin supplier reviewing Brazil under NCM/HS 85023100, the HS Market Finder generated a 59/100 market-readiness score, with the assessment “requires closer analysis”. This is an initial screening result; competition, access requirements, documentation and prospective buyers still require validation.

From a product code to an exhibitor shortlist

The 20 October snapshot showed 108 exhibitor records (as pictured on page 1). By 24 October, live exhibitor search returned 113 results. Users can search records, check stand details, save targets and shortlist commercial contacts.

The platform profile can associate an Energy, Utilities & Power focus and HS 85023100 with the event. Market Entry Desk may provide a further decision-oriented assessment. The full App V2 then supports the practical exhibition workflow: opening an exhibitor record, capturing a visit, and retaining business-card details, photographs, voice notes or written notes where supported.

For example, a European wind-industry supplier might screen HS 850231, shortlist potential supply-chain contacts, document conversations at the exhibition and schedule the next commercial action. This is an illustrative workflow, not a claim that specific meetings or contracts have resulted.

From an exhibition meeting to a commercial next step

After the event, saved contact information and meeting notes can help users review conversations, identify contacts requiring action and organise follow-ups. By connecting trade data, exhibitor records and visit documentation, Danevig aims to reduce the gap between initial market research and business development activity.

These workflows are not exclusive to Brazil Windpower. App V2 is designed to support commercial activities at other international exhibitions where relevant exhibitor and event information is available.
