Grupo Limber Software and Infogen have announced an M&A agreement, uniting over 400 clients to scale technological solutions tailored to agribusiness management, storage, and logistics.

The transaction combines Infogen’s decades of market expertise with Grupo Limber’s robust infrastructure, investment capacity, and technology portfolio. According to Fernando Fiorentin, founder and CEO of Grupo Limber Software, the primary objective is to expand market reach while retaining deep sector specialization.

“Agribusiness demands solutions built from the ground reality of those in the field and the industry,” stated Fiorentin. “The union with Infogen strengthens our ability to support companies with technologies that connect management, operations, and decision-making, keeping pace with the evolution and growing complexity of the Brazilian production chain.”

Leadership and Structure Continuity

Founded in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Infogen Informática is a leading developer of technological solutions for agro-industrial operations. The company serves organizations across grain storage, animal production, seeds, fertilizers, logistics, and industrial processing, offering specialized platforms for management, automation, and operational intelligence.

The merger preserves Infogen’s corporate structure and retains its founder and CEO, Ernani Zottis, who will now head the agribusiness vertical for the combined company. Zottis’s continued leadership is designed to ensure seamless client relationships and the preservation of technical knowledge accumulated over decades in the sector.

For Zottis, this new phase represents a critical opportunity to expand innovation without losing market proximity.

“Infogen grew by following the field’s evolution and developing solutions aligned with our clients’ needs,” Zottis highlighted. “This union broadens our investment and development capabilities, maintaining our commitment to stay close to the companies and the daily challenges faced by producers.”

Tech-Driven Efficiency: SiloScan and IPIG

Infogen brings to the table a robust suite of solutions designed specifically to address the pain points of the agro-industrial chain. Among its standout proprietary technologies is SiloScan, an advanced system that leverages sensors, lasers, and artificial intelligence to monitor silos and precisely calculate stored grain volume. The company’s portfolio also features IPIG, a computer vision-based platform engineered to automate the counting, weighing, and temperature monitoring of swine during loading operations. Together, these targeted innovations aim to boost efficiency, enhance operational control, and deliver real-time data for agile decision-making across the entire production chain.

This financial footprint immediately positions the new company as the premier Brazilian software player specialized in agribusiness.

“By integrating this expertise into the Limber ecosystem, we strengthen our ability to deliver technology built from the realities of agribusiness," Fiorentin added. “We now consolidate a profound understanding of the sector’s operations, ensuring our clients can rely on solutions that directly address their challenges and growth opportunities.”
